Have you ever been a part of a Facebook group where members post “f” or “.” on a post and wonder why they do this? Have you also noticed that some admins and group members get really irritated by this?
Users do this so that they receive a notification when someone adds a message to the post. Fortunately, there is a much easier way to receive notifications when comments are added.
How to follow posts on Facebook
Here’s how to “follow” a post on Facebook without irritating admins/members:
- Click the three dots “…” near the upper-right corner of the post you want to follow
- Click the “Turn on notifications for this post”

You can unfollow a post by clicking on the three dots in the upper-right corner of the post, and clicking on “Turn off notifications for this post”.
Also, this post was not inspired by Goulet Pen’s Facebook page admins or members. It was just a new post in my feed when I went to take a screenshot. If you are a fountain pen enthusiast, you should check out the Goulet Pen Company’s Website and their Facebook page.
